Wow, another trip to India -- what an amazing place! After I toured the country in 2004 for Vivek and Debashree's wedding I knew that I'd return some day. It was the most magical and in-your-face vacation I'd ever taken, and after going there I vowed never to go to a boring place like Europe again. I have since visited Egypt, Tunisia and Mexico City and they were all somewhat dull in comparison to India (but definitely not in absolute terms!). Was I just getting sensitized to developing nations? Am I getting old and unexcitable? As luck would have it, I was given the perfect opportunity to find out since my buddy Kim decided to cruise SE Asia for a year and was recruiting travel companions. Sign me up!
